Nanoparticle
A particle only nanometers across, often made to carry a drug or give a material new properties.
A nanoparticle is a speck of material only nanometers across. Particles this small can slip into cells, scatter light differently, or offer a huge surface for chemical reactions for their weight. Medicines, sunscreens and battery materials all use them.
